Heck, we'll take Good Wishes at any time..but in Canada, we celebrate 'Canada Day' on July 1...the Americans celebrate 'Independence Day' on July 4.
Like you, Canada celebrates the Queen's Birthday on May 24 AND we celebrate Boxing Day, too. Did you know that most Americans don't know about Boxing Day and therefore, sadly, loose out on another holiday!
It looks to me like you and that nice Mr. Kitten of yours celebrate every holiday in the grandest style (and maybe invent a few of your own??)! Yay, way to go, Girl! xoxo the fan

Thank you so much for remembering all of your American readers and wishing us a happy 4th.

It's amazing to consider all we Americans went through to be independent of Britain(I have 3 grandfathers that fought against the British in the Revolutionary War), but yet there are so many of us still completely obsessed with the place! Doesn't that seem rather ironic to you? Ha!

Are you ever lost for words, well I certainly am!! I only came upon your blog this morning, jobs have been put aside as I couldn't stop reading and taking in all the wonderful sights before my eyes. I grab DH when he returned home and had to share some aspects of your gorgeous home, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, views, and the list goes on.

DH wants to know when the next course is as he wants to send me over so I can become a Vintage Kitten? I would love to be your "older" apprentice.

Thank you so very much for sharing your "Wonderful Life". Linda xoxo

Hi Linda - Gold Coast, you dont appear to have a blog so I hope you see my reply. Thankyou so much for your lovely comment. I would love you to come and be a Vintage Kitten with me, we could listen to Frank Sinatra and drink Champagne with chocolates in the afternoon! (To be a real vintage kitten you have to be naughty and spoil yourself)... I wouldnt tell your Mr Kitten if you dont tell mine Hee Hee X

You are a girl after my own heart!! I had to laugh when I read your reply. I think I could lead you astray(?), but we would keep everything "mum" from our Mr K's. Pity as we were just over in May.

I bought a cocktail book (500 cocktails) and glasses just before Christmas, they are still waiting to be used. Any chance of you taking a trip downunder to give me a few lessons. Your cocktails look so divine......

Love Frank, Judy, Doris, Ella, just to mention a few so I would be right at home. DH calls me "Bubbles" because I love Champagne or Sparkling White as we cannot call it Champagne here. French Champagne is a little on the expensive side here, well it is if you drink as much as I do. On that note hicup, hicup and bottoms up.

It's been such a wonderful day reading your blog, feeling inspired again. Up the dancers time for me now, although we don't have any dancers.

Linda, aka a Vintage Kitten with training wheels on xoxo

Oh Linda you sound an absolute hoot! I can just imagine the trouble we could get upto! I think you should get mixing with your cocktail recipes straightaway, promise me you will do it in the style of Carmen Miranda LOL! X
